Meet the Owner: Gary Lowry

Quality Custom Window Tinting is more than just a business; it’s a family story. Gary Lowry opened the shop with his wife in 1994 right across the street from where it stands today. Before that he learned the trade at a tint shop off Fowler and built the foundation for his own dream. He hasn’t done it alone. Linda, our commercial specialist, has been with Gary and his wife since 1991 and remains a huge part of the team.

Born and raised in Miami, Gary later moved to LaBelle during high school. From a young age he loved working with his hands, and some of his earliest memories are of fixing things for his mom and brothers. That same drive to help people and get the job done right has carried through his entire career.

What truly defines Gary isn’t just the work; it’s the people. Over the years many who worked for him have gone on to achieve incredible things, including starting their own successful businesses, building families, and even working in healthcare. For Gary it has always been people first. He wants everyone who walks out of his shop, whether a customer or an employee, to leave as a better version of themselves. Nothing makes him happier than when old employees stop by to reminisce about the “good ole days.”

At one point Gary’s shop tinted cars for nearly every major dealership in town with just 12 employees. Even then he preferred being hands-on, talking with customers and making sure every job met his standards.

Now, more than 35 years later, with a little more gray hair, not much has changed. Gary is still the same approachable and hard-working family man who takes pride in every tint job and every relationship built along the way.
